DIY Workhorse Instrument Cluster LCD Replacement
Been putting off getting a new LCD module for a while, and noticed that Ultra RV has a DIY option. They will send you the module and you can put it in yourself.
105297S - Workhorse Actia Instrument Cluster *Replacement Screen Kit*
Well I decided to give it a try and if you can change a watch battery then you can do this because they send great instructions complete with photographs.
It's a typical project, took me a couple hours to do, and I bet I could do a second one in under an hour.
The only catch for me was getting the needles on the gauges back on in their proper position to properly report the settings. For example, the fuel gauge was about 90 degrees off when I initially reassembled everything. But using the gauge diagnostics built in to the display helped to remedy that issue.

For $300 you can get it done at a shop in Cali and they replace all of the gauge stepper motors also, as well as backlight

It would probably help the OP out if you gave a link, phone# or at least a grid coordinate to where the shop is.

I replaced my LCD and it's absolutely great! I love the bright blue background and bright white characters.
RV Life should be publishing the article I wrote about the project shortly.

Thanks, but the OP doesn't need a link to a shop for the repair. Ultra made it so easy he did it at home.

Circuit solutions. Link to my eBay purchase. Modulemaster.com auction #281539244264. Reason I pointed it out is the complete rebuild was $100 more than above diy link with 5 year warranty

Mine was 300.00, plus shipping both ways, about 360.00 total. Haven't put it in yet, but think I will like it. Module Masters.

Got mine put back in, took about 5 mins, would not have believed the difference, can read so much easier. Like the blue and white a lot better. Thank you Module Masters!!

How difficult is it to remove the panel to access the instrument cluster? I have a 2004 37 c on a workhorse chassis.

It is very easy. Couple of screws, squeeze a few tabs.....
