Now THAT is a GREAT idea. THANKS! ED

What you are doing is the best thing that you can do for your tires while you are parked long term on asphalt or cement. The barier prevents any interaction between the chemicals in the composition of the rubber and the pavement! Good job!

While you're at it, put a couple of politicians under them too. They make great tire warmers
in the winter (Lots of hot air).
Thanks for the idea Rolf

The trouble is that they would probably stick to the tires like those lumps you run over on your lawn with your ridding lawnmower. That could cause a bumping sensation with an awful smell as you drove down the road, mind you that could hid the smell of burning brakes.

Just curious, when was 'riding' spelled with two 'd's?

I follow the postings on this forum for their topic content and humorous antidotes and not for their spelling or grammar. Keep up the good work guys.

Ace_Clark, Spelling is not a requirement for participation here on the forum, That said one might consider downloading and installing IESpell which works great.
Look above this window and to the right (in the posting or edit window) there is a √ and a small ABC Once installed it's just a right click and "Check Spelling." You can also look stuff up in Merriam Webster and Wikepedia.

I park on gravel. Is there any benefit to a moisture barrier when parked on gravel?
