My problem was the new pass word they sent. I was reading the "1" in it as an "l". Guess I was not awake enough for all that tech. stuff so early.

Is that little CL C on the top of every page, a reminder to us as to the future of MoHoming? It looks a little overloaded.
Does WH still sponsor this section?
The site actually looks better than the sample at airforums did. I liked the separate window for replying better tho.
To be honest, the site looks nice, good job guys!
But what happened to all my camp fire karmas? I've been saving them up for a long time.

Hey Guys and Gals,
I had the same issue with the time of the posts-- They are in GMT. You need to select your own time zone and here is how to do it---
Max - you can set the time in your account settings to account for your geographic location.
Click on userCP (upper tool bar) >edit options
Scroll down to find Date & Time Options, select and then scroll down and hit save.
It took me about 4 hours to get through the pass word bit-- Double UGH-- I am computer challanged, that's for sure!!
***************
It works,
Good luck,

Max, Thanks for the tip! I just finished up the "Stickies" and then set my TZ.

I had some trouble with the password change too, guess was rushing it. Came back a few hours later and the new password worked, then changed to my own password. Kinda like the new form, thanks for TZ heads up.

Lets see if signing on for the third time is the charm! Better be, I'm running out of passwords.

I used cut and paste to take care of the password issue... However I'm not liking it nearly as much. I can't tell what is "new" since last visit

Have you tried "New Posts" on the menu bar? How about "Quick Links > Today's Posts"?

If you have multiple accounts we can merge them.
if you are getting logged out at page changes this may be a cookie handling issue. Our site exchanges little bits of data called cookies with your computer to keep you logged in at page changes. Many virus protection programs or your computers own safety settings (if set very high) may be deleting these cookies when you navigate away from a page and then you get logged off. You can try the following things:
1. Set your system security settings to medium.
2. Be sure that you have enabled cookie handling.
3. Check you Virus protection software (especially Macaffee users) and be sure that cookie handling is not being blocked there - you can specifically allow cookie exchange with our site.
4. When you log into the forums be sure to check the "remember me" box in the login dialog box.
Most of the questions have already been addressed in the tech support area of the forum and I recommend that you post your concerns and question there so that we can more handily address them.

Ok, I ask this in another thread and was given a clue, tried it and it appeared to work but......
The question is: How do I quickly tell the topics with new posts.
If I click the "NEW POSTS" link.. it shows me all the new posts in all the forums, not just this one.

whb440 Welcome!
We really haven't seen where members have had to redo their credentials to get in. We expect that all the user-names have been properly imported. The important thing is that you're here!
It is important that when everyone logs back in that they restore their old password or pick a new one. Other suggestion - keep the one you got, it'll work each and every time but who likes a password like "4VBHu78F" ?
