I just completed a 900 mile trip after completing installation of a Henderson Trac-Bar. What a change! Used to get lots of yaw from passing semi's and crosswinds. Now, semi's are a non-event, and even crosswinds are easier to handle. Takes a lot of the chore out of driving. I started the install myself in the driveway, but discovered trying to get a torque wrench on the bolts to accurately tighten them was nearly impossible. Had a WCC service center finish the job when the fuel rail clip recall was done.
A trac-bar is included with the WCC chassis upgrade package, but should be standard equipment. IMHO it's well worth the cost.

I guess some do it because they honestly feel their vehicle needs all these aftermarket goodies.
So why are so many motorhome owners adding these parts.
I have always tended to feel that if the aftermarket companies knew so much more than the OEM's, why don't they make their own race motorcycles , cars , trucks or MH's.
Because of costs or environmental reasons I realize OEM's may be more restricted than the aftermarket companies. However since most people financ their MH's and have to pay cash or credit card for modifications, why does'nt the MH OEM make their vehicle handle well enough for 99% of the owners. It's not like we race these things.
Having said all of this, IMO, my P-32 handles good enough. I'd much rather see the aftermarket companies find fixes for the burnt wires, the autopark , the IP cluster and maybe an easier to get and a little more reasonably priced fuel filter.
I understand they came up with a fix for the P-32 air bag problem . If I continueto have problems with mine and plan to keep it after the warranty is up, I will go "aftermarket" for this fix.

On Edit, I'm not trying to start an argument here but I can't understand why at least one of the aftermarket companies don't want to try to make a manual parking brake kit for people who have had problem with or just dont trust the autopark. If Ford can make them and WH can make it for their W-22, and almost all other medium duty trucks with hydraulic brakes have a manual perking brake, then I know it could be done. Any thoughts on this? Please don't say it is because MH owners are'nt smart enough to remember to take the brake off. We are just as smart and strong as drivers of almost all other vehicles.

UltraTrack by Brazel's Performance RV is a very good alternative. You wouldn't want to buy the track bar from Workhorse because they don't list it as a retail sales item and it would cost a lot more than an UltraTrack.
