We're on a trip AK and are now in Alberta, Canada. I have noticed a noise coming from somewhere in the drivetrain/propeller shaft area. It's like a "clanking" or a slight "banging"noise like something may be loose. We've driven nearly 2000 good miles in the last week or so and this noise has just started, I think. May have to take it to a shop in Calgary.

Does anyone have any thoughts about a possible cause.
Bob

Bob, I'm sure that they will investigate the possibility for a bad universal joint or carrier bearing. These items should be available locally from a truck parts store.

Good luck and let us know how it all works out.
