You are shocked that a news service only reported PART of the story, and thus slanted it strongly against a company and quite likely in favor of another.
I would suggest you not watch the news, or read it, This has been the way of life for many news sources for some decades now.
I do recall reading (When I was in high school) a book were an editor showed a person two examples of the same story, One balanced and one slanted, and said "We try to keep it balanced". (They did, in fact, run the balanced one).
Today.. I see evidence of "Headlining" all the time, In fact when a former Fox News assoicate worte a book: Fair and Blanced, Exposing the facts behind how unfair and unbalanced Fox News is Fox took him to court claiming "Fair and Balanced" was their trademark and the author could not use it for his book.
I have heard of a lot of cases that were "laughed out of court" in the vernacular.. But this is the only one I have heard of where the judge actually laughed it out of court.
Now, I do not mean to imply that ____ news is better than Faux.. But fair and balanced is not how news is reported any more, with the POSSIBLE exception of PBS. and I stress POSSIBLE.
