I have the Tire-SafeGuard system and am very happy with it. Flow thru sensors and no repeater/ antenna required. Great customer service also.

Thank you Jerry. That helps a great deal. Now I just want to call them so verify that they've switched over to sensors that have replaceable batteries.

PiBDB, A lot of installations will see the antenna mounted under the floor and moved 1/2 back. The antenna is just secured with a couple of Ty-Wraps and that's it. Most of the time on a 10 sensor system you do not need an antenna. Call TST and ask for Dan for a better explanation.

That is a much nicer installation than the "box" units like my TST.

The only issue I had with Tire sentry is that you have to "break down" the wheels to do anything with the sensors, that was the deciding factor for me. The cost of breaking down 6 "22"ers and 4 Toadies is significant, not to mention that I can not perform those actions myself. NOw if I was buying new rubber at the same time....well that would have been a different story.

Personally, I decided I can live with non-replaceable batteries every 5-7 years.

You must be thinking of a different brand. These sensors screw onto the valve stem like a valve cap.
The only negative - as is with most - is that you must use steel stems or they can eventually "break" due to the slightly extra weght.
