Pressure Pro on the coach (6) and on the toad (4). Been worth the money so far.

Pressure Pro, 6 on the coach & 4 on the toad. Cost about $600. Cost to repair torn up coach or toad due to a tire going flat, priceless !!

We use Pressure Pro too. I would not have a coach without it.
It will not prevent flat tires or blow outs but you can very easily check tire pressures and it will automatically warn of low pressure in a tire. Worth the $$ in my opinion.

Everybody is refering to systems that attach to the outside of the tire.Does anyone make a system that goes inside the tire, like on newer cars, that we can use on the motorhome?

I just ordered a HawksHead. They use detectors that run on lithium watch batteries that are replaceable. There is one system that goes on the rim inside the tire, but the toad size units they used to make are no longer available. They only sell for 22.5" and larger tires now.

There was one I was looking at before I bought the Pressure Pro but that involves dismounting and mounting all 10 tires including the toad. And again if there is a problem or you decide to change motorhome or car. The Pressure Pro is so much easier.

We use the pressure pro as well. The ones that mount inside smarttire for one do require dismounting the tires to put on, so only worthwhile if also buying tires.

Yes, Smart Tire Recreational Vehicles | Products | SmarTire Systems Best system on the market for motor homes and priced accordingly.

I have the Tire Sentry. The transmitter attaches to the valve stem. I can personally replace the batteries (watch batteries from Walmart) which is a good feature. The transmiter uses the 330 MHz band which does not interfere with any of my electronics.

Our sponsor, Truck Systems Technologies, TST, makes a great product with more bang for the buck! Please check them out!

They are currently offering a 2 year warranty on systems purchased in April. Costs less ... works great!

Are they worth it?

Tale of 2 customers

I got my Pressure Pro and installed it on the motor home and towed

We headed north, about 200 miles, and part way there BEEP BEEP BEEP low pressure alert.. Left front on the towed

Found a rest area. confirmed the low pressure. Broke out the huffer-puffer (Air Compressor) fired up the ONAN and huffed and puffed it back up to pressure. Over the weekend I continued to re-inflate as needed and upon returning home re-inflated one last time and drove to tire store where they told me I"d been SCREWED.. So they removed the screw, showed it to me, tossed it into their "Stuff we found in tires" jar, applied a proper patch, remounted and re-inflated.. Road hazard coverate, final bill $0.00

Other customer: Got his but figured he'd install it at his next stop.> Tossed it in the basment, hooked up his towed, and off they went.. Fifteen miles later people are honking and pointing. He pulles off and finds the Left Front tire (Same as I had) had blown, debris from the tire had tore up the fender and wheel well to the tune of $2,000 in damage to the car.. Plus of course the tire and rim were both toast.

So.. How much did that Pressure Pro system cost me?

I have had the TST system for almost two years now. Works great, great customer service and also give you a high temp alarm so if you have a tread separation but don't lose any air, it will still warn you because the tire will get very hot before it finally let's go. The new style monitors are much nicer than the old style that I have but not enough for me to pay the difference in price. Great Company to deal with also.
