We have a 2004 W-22 chassis and I can not find where the emergency cable is attached to either the transmission or drive shaft. Missed this one! Thank You.

What do you see on the drive shaft directly behind the transmission as far as a brake drum or a rotor with a caliper if any? Do you have a foot pedal parking brake in the cockpit? Is there a push/pull yellow knob anywhere on or beside the dash.

There is drum brake directly behind the transmission which is cable operated from the foot applied brake pedal adjacent to the left kick panel. It is released via a spring assembly.

The foot applied parking brake is only a supplementary braking device the actual fool proof braking device is the parking pawl located inside the transmission when you place the shift lever in "P".
