I have heard that there is a thread on how a tow company should set up for a tow of a W22 chassis. I cannot find it. I heard that DriVer gave some instructions in this forum on the procedure a tow company should use. I did a search and cannot find it. When I was under Workhorse warranty I did not particularly worry about it. They would have someone who knew what they were doing. Now the warranty is out and I will depend on Good Sam or FMCA probably and would like to watch that they do it right. Could sopmeone give me a link or direct me to a good check sheet or the thread for W22 Towing for Dummies? Thanks...Phil

I can only tell you what I had done to tow our other MHs. I had the mis fortune to have a couple of them towed at one time or another. The people sent out by Coachnet (WIT emergency road service)went under the coach and disconnected the drive shaft and raised the front end by the wheels. This procedure was followed for each of our MHs and caused no problems.

The people chosen to tow your vehicle are usually experienced in the proper procedure. I only once had them send a car sized tow vehicle.

Thanks Driver...Happy New Year to you too. I hope to be in Florida right after the new year starts so I expect it to be happy. I saw the response you directed me to and I thought there was one more related to a major tow with a tow truck to a repair facility. In the past we depended on WH if we ever needed a tow (never did need it - came close once when the AC compressor locked up} since we were in warranty. Now it looks like I will just trust Coach Net to handle it if I ever need one....Thanks...
