Keep at it pal. You are close to victory!
Thanks for the support... I used to be an aircraft mech,, twin engine turbo props,, (A&P) but that was many moons (and miles) ago... I don't bend and twist like I used to.. LOL... We are getting very close to our yearly trip of 2600+ miles,, so time is running short... Man I need this vacation,,, just want it to be stress free,,, ya know ??

Finding a vacuum leak

A spray bottle of water works better than almost anything, and it won't damage wires & hoses. Any change in idle speed indicates you've found the area.

Be sure so spray the base of the intake manifold. Intake manifold gaskets are also prone to leaks.

I have another question... I'm using PB Blaster to soak the plugs loose and tight, back and forth.. So far I have one more out... Obviously this stuff is running down the exhaust manifolds.. Should I be concerned with it catching on fire when I finally start it up ?? I'm thinking to spray some carb or brake cleaner on it and let it dry before starting... Idea's ???
