I have a 2004 National RV Dolphin that is on a W22 with a 8100 Vortec. The engine indicator light has come on and I cant figure out why as everthing in the coach chassis seems to be running OK. Engine temp, voltage and oil pressure are all good. Does anyone no where can find out what other things will cause the engine indicator light to go on.

You have a stored code in the ECM on your coach, and the only way to know what it is, is to have it scanned with a diagnostic tool. Most auto parts stores have these scanners and will read your code for free and tell you what the issue is. They may not be the best at giving you a solution to the problem so I would suggest taking it to an authorized Workhorse Service Center to fix the problem if its something serious. You can also purchase a Scangauge 2 diagnostic and gauge tool to read these codes.

This was my Saturn Vue however I think that in some instances GM DTCs may be similar from one vehicle to the next. Sure was easy enough to check.
I obtained the diagnostic resolution from OnStar!

Jon, I have an issue with the engine light coming on. All 4 times indicated "low voltage" to the O2 sensors. They have check fuel pressure, and did a clean up of the injectors, fuel cap is good. Still the light came on with the same code. The latest they told me is that the O2 sensors probably need replacing. But I have also been told that if the sensors reset and the codes are able to reset that the sensors are good. Last shop told me that he had nothing else to check. Every time the light comes on is under load and pulling a grade. If I stop and reset the codes , I am able to continue. When the engine light comes on,I loose lot of power, still runs but very poorly.
Any advise will be helpful.
Thanks, Pete
