Don't know if this is a problem or not. Yesterday I replaced the fuel filter and installed Oemy's adapter. Engine started after a few cranks and ran fine, with no leaks at the filter or adaptor. Also took the CAI air filter off and cleaned and re-oiled it. I made sure the filter was dry (overnight+) befor re-oiling and made sure I did not over oil the filter, reinstalled it and ran the engine for about 20 minutes. Here is where I'm not sure what is going on. Tried to rev the engine and could only get it to go to about 3200 RPM. Tried doing it fast and slow, same thing, 3200 RPM. When done fast ,it sounds like it wants to rev higher, then cuts to 3200 RPM. The coach is pretty level and the jacks are down. I even took the MAF out, cleaned it to make sure no oil from the filter was on it, put it back and the same thing. Is there some kind of cut-off coming into play here?? Help!

Your engine is operating properly. The 8.1 has a Rev. limiter is factory set at 3k RPM in park or neutral.

That's one safety item that is good to have.
Even 3000 RPM is unnecessary in neutral, and more risky than when the engine is under load.
