I have a Dolphin motor home mounted on a 2003 W-22 Workhorse chasis. The ABS light comes on and off intermittently. When the light is OUT [as it should be] and I'm cruising at 60 MPH the engine surges up to 700 rpm. When the light is ON the engine runs perfectly. The sensor on each wheel has been changed. Has anyone had this problem and if so what did you do to correct it? Any help from any source would be appreciated.

I have had problems when the ABS light was on. My Tach would breifly change about 200 RPM's while cruising down the freeway. I was told this was the torque converter kicking in and out. Once I got the ABS issues resolved, the RPM's stayed steady. You might check that all your ABS sensors are seated correctly. Check out Oemy's Web Site - for many tips on your chassis

Take a look at the battery for loose terminal connection or corrosion that will give you some gremlins lurking in the system, computers don't like voltage spikes from loose connections & grounds.

Check brake fluid level and level sensor. Also check brake light switch adjustment.
