Thudman,

McKenzie in Milton and Sandy Sansing in Pensacola get good marks. Tommy Thomas is something of an unknown. Roger McCombs up in Crestview (used to be at the "Lucky 13" truck stop on I-10, but recently moved the RV operation to the south side of Crestview) used to be a Workhorse center but I don't see their name on the list any more.

And, yes, I'm a "local".

I think Mahlon added value to the post by his 1st hand experience with the recommendations which are now automatically converted to 2 favorites and 1 center as unknown. Any intelligence is good.

Let's do try to get back on topic OK guys!

Drop in on the "CHAT" session tonight guys, I'll be there 9:00pm EST. Don't forget to turn your clocks back Saturday night before you go to bed.

We now return you to our regularly-scheduled topic:

Big West Truck Sales & Service, LLC
505 Menaul NW Albuquerque, NM 87107
(800)264-6366
(505)345-6366
Fax: (505)345-8255
http://www.bigwest123.com

When my a/c compressor clutch bearing blew out on a trip (thereby stranding us) Big West dropped everything they had planned to get the belt & compressor changed out in one Saturday morning. They even flashed the i/p while I was there, even though that took more time. They let me park the coach w/ my wife & grandson on the lot plugged in to shore power overnight.

S & S RV Service
40 Knight Road Gettysburg, PA 17325
(717)334-0149
Fax: (717)334-0861

Work was completed according to quotes and ahead of when actually promised. The steering assembly was checked and cleared according to the recall.

They completed the steering campaign check, but recods on my motorhome online records do not reflect the results and have not been updated as of 12/27/2006.

When planning our 2007 travel, we plan to return to this facility for regular maintenance if required at the time of travel.

Additional non-warranty work was accomplished satisfactorily., i.e. oil change, and they installed tire air pressure caps, which I will use until I have an opportunity to have another system installed.

Bubba-B is right. All Wheel did brake work, balancing, and worked on my auxillary brake system on my last coach. They ran an extension cord for me to hook up for the night in their locked area. Good folks to deal with.
