Firestone/Riderite 2085 rear air install issues

Hi Folks.
I'm halfway in to installing a Firestone 2085 rear air ride kit on our 94 P32. The issue is the outermost strap nearest the wheel is more or less directly over the shock mount. I chose to go with the Firestone over the AirLift 57219 thinking it might be better quality. On checking the airlift 57219 instructions once again their outermost bag mount is between the shock mount.
Anyone on here fitted the Fireston kit and come across the same issue ??
Thanks in advance for any pointers if you have.
