I got the brake fluid test strips in. Real easy to use. Just dip it into the fluid and wait 30 to 120 seconds and compare the strip to the colors on the container. A complete test is the Master Cylinder and all 4 calipers.

I had just changed my fluid a few months back, plus I had just topped off the master cylinder after testing the Speed Bleeder so my test was probably skewed. But, it still show a bit of contamination. The scale is 10, 30, 100, 200 & 300. 100 is marginal and 200 or greater means you need to change. Will this change my yearly brake fluid change... probably not. It's cheap maintenance, especially with Speed Bleeders installed.

I forgot to add where I got the test strips... Most places what between $50 and $75 for a tube of 100. There is a company called Marxgrp, they have a store front on Amazon.com and sell the for $35 plus $5 USPS Priority mail shipping. Marxgrp Link

Just a short update to the above post. You will notice that my fluid shows a slight contamination (only 10) even thou it was recently changed and topped off with new fluid.

The master cylinder on my W20 chassis 33v is mounted up so high that I can't see into it. There is not enough room to even pour in the fluid. How do I overcome this problem?

I used a small hand mirror to look at the level and I recall was able to add fluid from the can.
Also I had to use a shop light to get some light on the master cylinder so I could see the level.

You can tell by the color. The old fluid is dark and the new fluid is clear.
