Just got back from a 200 mile test drive. Some mountains, driveways, speed bumps, dips, wind, trucks, stupid drivers cutting you off, and some dirt even. The difference is great and really noticeable. It really makes a difference. I recommend it to anyone with a W22 that only has the 2" stabilizer bar. What a ride. I am one Happy camper. Thank you Clay and DriVer

Glad you like the results!!

I just left the Winnebago factory where I got some warranty work done.
Like Driver said, we met at the rally field and had a great visit.
Also met one of the guys that
Started the Workhorse club (Rus Johnson) and enjoyed talking with him.

We are now in Sioux Falls SD planning to change our residence from Nh to SD.

Gdlow:
DriVers quote below gives you the steps. The bar is located just forward of the front axle. It attaches to both springs at the forward end by means of a 'U' clamp (casted saddle). My orginial stabalizer bar as was ClayLs, and so many others, was only 2" square. After changing it to the 2.5" square bar great improvements were noted. You may already have the 2.5 so measure the square tube first. If not I do recomment it. WH made this change latter but I'm not sure at what time they did it.

Reference: (S1) 3-16 Front Suspension Workhorse Chassis Service Manual

Installation Procedure
1. Install the insulators to the stabilizer shaft.
2. Install the clamps to the stabilizer shaft.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and
Notices in the WCC Service Manual.
3. Install the washers and nuts to the stabilizer
shaft clamp and the left front leaf spring.
4. Install the washers and nuts to the stabilizer shaft clamp and the right front leaf spring. Tighten Tighten the stabilizer shaft clamp nuts to 373 Nm (275 lb ft).
5. Lower the vehicle.

I met "ClayL" in Forest City, IA in the GNR Field across the street from the Winnebago Industries plant. Not only did ClayL rent a torque wrench to tighten the fasteners but the Manual also says "275 lb/ft" torque as well. I checked over his install and it was very well done. Clay is also very pleased with the results. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
