I posted this under the Maintenance portion but no reply. How often are the wheel bearings supposed to be repacked? My rig has 40K on it, had 36K when I bought and no records or way of knowing if or when they have been taken care of.
Any suggestions? I sure don't want to burn one out!

If you have the W-22 chassis you have oil bath front bearings. They are not packed in grease. pull the hub cap off and you can see if you have a small rubber plug and a plastic cap over the center shaft, if you do you have oil bath bearings. You can add oil through the hole the rubber plug is in and you can drain the old oil by removing the screw on cap when it is in the bottom of the wheel. If you have the Chevy P-32 chassis or a Ford then you have the grease packed bearings and my book says repack every 50,000.
