Fuel Filter

Here is another source for the Workhorse Filter WHG481FK. I ordered and received one from Summit Racing. Price was $26.97 and shipping was free if you spend $99. It took forever to get it....weeks. Seems they don't keep them in stock. The adapter comes with a G481 filter that seems bigger than the one that's on there now. I need to take another look to be sure. Safe travels.

I have just gone to a Auto Parts store and match it up to one on a shelf. I have also found them at Flee Markets for a buck a filter.

The filter's not hard to find it's the adapter that is part of the WHG481FK. $26 is about the cheapest I've seen anywhere.

I believe it was 2004 when Workhorse changed the fuel filter. The early one can be bought any where. The newer one is harder to find or needs an adapter to use the older one.

Here's a link to the adaptor that is needed for the 2004 and up W Chassis gas filter.

I got the machined billet adapter from Ultra RV Products. It is a very nice piece.
