Reason why I posted this is because the
fuel filter is so critical for fuel pump
life. On my Coach it has the "GM Beer Can"
fuel filter in line, leaving the pump, and
headed to the engine bay. It is, I believe,
the very same fuel filter that GM puts on the
V-6. On a big block application (which uses
and filters more gas), the change intervals
are the same (?) as the V-6. Since way back,
when we had a 454 TBI in the Fleetwood, I have
changed his filter every spring, regardless of mileage.
I have already changed it out in the
Newmar. With the dirt and water and garbage in
today's gasoline, I found the Marine spin-on
fuel filter, linked to above.
