Just curious, I have been off the net for a while has there been any good news about getting gas filters? The last I heard there was going to be a new supplier and we would be able to get them at a reasonable price.
I have a 2006 Trail Lite, 34 foot, W18, 8.1 liter. Thanks in advance!!! Love this forum!!! I think I get smarter the more I read.

Max Was the price $50.00 each or for 2. If you got 2 for 50 that was good.
Last one I bought 2 months ago was $77.00 and I thought I was ripped.
Hopefully I will not need to get another for quite awhile.
WH priority items are tough. Only avail through dealers.

I ordered one from Burt Chevrolet, $47 but it took a long time to get it. K&C RV had one in stock at the time and I bought it for $51. K&C RV will ship to your door. http://www.kcrv.com/form.asp?nav=840...e=225&indid=3&
I'm surprised Brazels does'nt sell and ship them. Or maybe they do but don't promote it

I called Bill Heard Chevrolet in Scottsdale, AZ, they didn't have any gas filters. They suggested I call Workhorse direct, I knew that was wrong from Drivers previous entry. I then called Apache Sans Service in Mesa AZ and they had them. The bad thing was the price, $79.99. I purchased one just to carry with me, you never know. Sure am glad you don't replace them that often. Just hope I keep getting good clean gas from the pumps.

WCC is set up like any other car/truck maker--- service through a dealer network. Too all--- if someone in a Workhorse dealer's parts department tells you to call Workhorse for them, ask to see their boss (parts mgr, general mgr, etc.). WCC is not set up to sell direct to owners.
Also, just because a particular dealer is not stocking a part doesn't mean it's not available or discontinued.
There's excellent, great, good, bad and ugly in every dealer network... If you have a dealer that provides satisfactory service, show your appreciation by patronizing their establishment.

Hey Oemtech,
I think I missed something somewhere. I know the fuel filter on the workhorse needs to be changed for maintenace but I don't carry one with me. Should I?
Thanks,

There is no change maintenance schedule for the fuel filter.
"The filters should be replaced as required. A yearly inspection is suggested."
"The gasoline fuel filter has no periodic change interval. It can last for years or for hours if
contaminated fuel is encountered."
