Are the rubber gas lines ethanol compliant and what year did workhorse start using ethanol gas lines? I supect my 2004 chassis is not since we were not forced fed ethanol in 2004. Having two boats I am all to familiar with what ethanol can do plastic, rubber even aluminum welds.

My service manual says it's okay to use 10% ethanol. The 15% ethanol the feds are going to dictate the use of is another story.
Maybe driver can get some info from the factory folks.

A bigger ethanol question is;
When did Workhorse start programming (production month / year) our 8.1L engine’s for 10% blends?
My 8.1L is not at peak performance with 10% vs. no ethanol. I can tell the difference!
There’s technical and anecdotal evidence that even 10% ethanol blends have damaged boat engines, according to the National Marine Manufacturers Association.

We just about all burn 10% Ethanol regrettably, I don't like it. As far as I know every 8.1L engine that came down the line was capable of burning a maximum of 10% ethanol. To answer the question; 2001.

This is obviously a question hat I will ask at the upcoming Workhorse Chassis Motorhome Club rally in Dundee, OH. WCC will have factory reps there perhaps Alan Stegich or the RSM from that region will be able to address this question.
Now if I can only remember to ask the question .....
