We have a 2006 Fleetwood Fiesta 26Y Workhorse 8.1. I detected a strong odor of gasoline to the rear of the motorhome. Upon checking, I discovered there is fresh gasoline leaking somewhere from the top of the gas tank. I can see the gasoline running down the side of the tank. This only happens when the engine is running.

Could be the supply or return line hose. IIRC there is short piece of rubber fuel line connected to the hard lines or it could be a leaky fuel pump gasket.
I took a closer look and I found that the fuel line is leaking at the elbow connection. I've attached a couple of pictures. I assume this should be an easy fix?
After further research, it appears the leak is coming from the connectors at the fuel pump assembly. The good news is that I don't think I will have to drop the gas tank. There is ample room to work above it. Fingers crossed. Does anybody have any information what size or type of connectors are attached to the pump? What is the fuel line size? As you can probably tell, I don't do much mechanic work. Thanks again!
Not sure on size.... But, be sure to get FUEL line hose and/or connectors or you will get to do it again.
OBTW - More than likely you will a difficult time removing the hoses. The age and clamps will make almost impossible to remove. So, I would cut them off and replace them.
I have this picture of the top of the fuel tank on a bare chassis, you could look to see if your fuel lines switch to the steel lines at the same point . The color coding would indicate the large pressure line is your leak and those connectors have no service parts , you'll probably need the length of hose and possibly a tool to release the connectors.
Hopefully it's only the hose and not a crack in the molded fuel pump tubes .. that would require dropping the tank.

From looking at a picture of the fuel filter , both the pressure and return are the same size so the picture showing color coded hoses would be to assure the correct hook up on the assembly line.
Inside the connectors is a lock spring, ( first picture) , that goes over a hump on the pump tube , (second picture end of the red shipping cap) , these connectors require a tool, ( third picture) be installed over the pump tube then the tool and the connector are pushed together to spread the spring and the hose slides off.
EDIT: Of course the pictures posted out of order, fitting and pump are swapped , colored arrows on the pump are from another post and I haven't figured out how to eliminate them.

Given the location of your leak , it is a remote possibility , that the hose was not properly installed at the factory ( not fully locked in place ) .
Before you do anything else ; dry up around the area , and see if the connection will slide, ( direction of red arrow) any further onto the pump tube ( yellow arrow) and lock and hold there . Then start up and recheck for a leak .

I just dropped the tank and replaced the fuel pump on my Outlaw W24. I bought these line disconnects at HF, but I would recommend just the cheap round plastic disconnects. There was not enough room to fit the connectors I bought around the lines. The lines are push until they click. There are 4 or 5 metal tabs inside the line that click on to the lip to hold the fuel line in place.
I know this is an old thread but I'm wondering how JasonG70 fixed this. I have a 2006 Bounder on the Workhorse chassis and I just noticed the same issue. Just a slow drip for now, but it's enough to smell gas outside the coach for a few minutes after parking. Jason, was the fix to replace the fuel lines? Were they available or did you have them made? Were you able to do it without dropping the tank? Naturally, I filled mine on the way home from the last trip so it's good and heavy. Thanks.
