After 45K miles, my genset runs out of fuel about 3/4 tank. Up until now, it would run down to appox. 1/4 tank. Can the pickup tube move out? How is it held in place? I have not looked at the connection to main tank. If I have to replace it, do I have to drop the main tank? Any thoughts??
Thanks

Sure sounds like the tube has "backed out" somehow. Since Tiffin installed it and the genset, you need to ask them if that "could be" the problem and how to fix it. ED

Are you sure it's not a gas gauge problem?
How many gallons can you put in the tank when it reads 3/4?

My fuel gauge is near corect. At 1/3, I can put in appox. 38-44 gal. From what I can see in the park is the pickup tube is copper. I think I see 3 fliters on the gas line to genset. There is a rubber hose from the copper line to 2 filters under the genset, then a rubber hose to the filter on the genset. When I get home next week, I plan to change out the first 2 filters and the rubber hose the feeds the filter on the genset. That hose is soft and one of the pinch clamps may be loose. The engine AC keeps the front of the coach cool for the pup. I am not going to work on it in the park as it is about 100+deg now.
Thanks

Big- Is this a repeat problem, or you just ran out of gas @ 3/4 tank 1st and only time so far?
If its 1st & only time, sounds like you could route a hose around all that junk & see if you've got a clog (vs dip tube) problem.
