welcome to this forum.

on my moho, the brake light switch controls the brake lights and the cruise control.
the switch plunger wears sometimes where it touches the brake pedal. then the brake light will still work but the cruise control will not.

on my moho, the brake light switch is on the right side of the steering column, accessible by opening the dash and reaching down.
i removed the 2 plug connectors with difficulty

and turned the whole threaded switch to adjust it using a multi-meter.
on the brake light side, you want continuity when the brake pedal is depressed, no continuity when the pedal is relaxed. some folks have added springs to keep the brake pedal relaxed.
on the cruise control side you want continuity when the brake pedal is relaxed. the switch is designed so that there must be some preload when the brake pedal is relaxed for the cruise control to work. my moho only had 8k miles on it when this happened to me. i sprayed contact cleaner into the switch while actuating it before adjusting it.
ims i adjusted my switch 2 turns closer to the brake pedal actuating arm.
if there is a problem with your brake light bulbs, sockets, or wiring the cruise control will not work.
there is a search function on this forum where you can find more detailed info on adjusting the brake light switch, including a post by me when i adjusted my switch several years ago.

some folks just put several layers of tape between the plunger and the brake actuating arm.
