We want a good UFO coach.
I have the itch, and I intend to scratch it. I am looking at a Winne Adventurer Limited, an Itasca Latitude and a Holiday Rambler Vacationer 38plt, all with the UFO chassis. Too bad Rexhall is so far away. The dealers are reducing the price by 15% plus paying off my present coach. (The dealer with the Latitude,is really being agressive about getting rid of the coach. It has an 11,000 dollar rebate that comes with it, but the Adventurer is a nicer coach, and the same dealer has one we like) If I wait to sell my coach myself, I can get 25 to 29 percent off MSRP but I think trading will work out better for us logistically and tax wise. What do you think about buying a UFO?

There are several of us who have the itch. You are not alone. Unfortunately I have not been able to find a floor plan that is acceptable to DW. You know the old saying "If mama ain't happy nobody is going to be happy".

Yes, I know what you mean. My wife likes the Rexhall Arebus, but it is at 150k with no trade in (factory direct) and the factory is in CA. But man, what a good looking rig inside and out. I like the HR 38PLT floor plan and that coach has a very good price at the moment. The Winne Adventurer Limited is not bad at all. Driver suggested I check out that coach. My wife just doesn't dig the interior of the Latitude.

GRAMPS: As you have probably learned the Adv. Limited is available in both of the Destination / Lattitude floor plans (37G & 39W ), but the Limited has a more tradational interior and very tasteful fabric colors. The new front cap is also nicer looking, IMO. Since the chassis and house construction is the same with either product name, many have opted for the Adventurer Limited, either 37GL or 39WL.
Good luck finding yours! ED

The '09 Itasca Latitude/Winnebago Destination comes with traditional cabinetry standard. Also, the caps have been redesigned!

I don't think the 09 has the 11,000 rebate.

Also, Tom Johnson in Charlotte has 3 Adventurer 37GL on their web site and a Destination 39W.

Well, Tom Johnson is now down to 2 Adventurers (no I didn't buy one..Moocha Frost colored coach) but they do have two Dusk ones left. The same color as my Vue and they have provided me with a number that isn't bad.

You know for us, it is so much harder buying the second coach than it was the first. New Coach selling prices are down, but so are trade ins as well. The Lower the price the less you get on trade, just the way it is. Except that in our case, the numbers are a bit off. The lower priced Holiday Rambler UFO at 155k msrp ends up costing 7000 more than the much higher priced Winnebago Adventurer Limited UFO which has an Msrp of 161k. The best price is a 177K MSRP Itasca Latitude that comes in at the same price as the Adventuer because of a big 11000 rebate and 6k more on trade in. The problem is I love the chassis but the DW doesn't like the interior one bit. Still it is fun to shop and bicker and shop some more. What we are hoping..is to get that very nice HR 38plt UFO at a fair price and keep it for many years. If the dealer can't keep our purchase from being upside down on the first day..then we may be new Winnie Adventurer owners which doesn't seem bad at all.
