I do not know if this is in the right forum or should be in MH problems.
Thanks to those who helped us with the fuses. Pace arrow 2002. We started up the MH and we hear a noise like a hammering in the exhaust system. We had never had this before. After going under and checking I found a 3/8 rubber hose that was burnt. This hose is directly behind the drivers side muffler cross over pipe. The hose was burnt from touching the crossover pipe. The hose was a little long so was able to cut and reapply until further repair. The hose is a 3/8, however it was stretched larger at one end for the connection.
The hose had Type B 04 05 01-5051 CIP written on it. There was no fluid on the ground.
What is this hose for? Is there any problem driving the RV to get service with the hammering noise?
Any help is appreciated.

When you say cross over pipe, are you sure that's what it is or are you talking down pipe from the manifold to the cat converter? Inquiring minds wanna know!

For inquiring minds The hose is after the Cat converter after the muffler where the exhaust pipe crosses over from driver side just before rear axel to exit passenger side of the RV.
Driver do you know if an rv has the same federal warranty on the Cat converter as an auto, 8 yrs 80,000 miles?

Driver,
Just wanted to let you know I gave the incorrect information of the Federal Warannty of cat converter. It is heavy duty chassis and is 5 years 50,000 miles. Light is 8 years 80,000 miles.
The MH is in the shop and noise was from a bad cat converter.
Thanks again for everyones input.

The Heavy Duty Emission Defect Warranty is for 5 years or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, on all gasoline chassis greater than 8,500 lbs. GVWR and on diesel chassis up to 19,500 lbs. GVWR. Chassis with diesel engines greater then 19,500 lbs. GVWR are covered for 5 year or 100,000 miles, whichever occurs first.
