If you have been reading the post you already know what I just went through getting my workhorse covered under warrenty. Well I find out the problem was due to the Dealer when it was first sold they didn't let Workhorse know it was sold, so they went back to the build date to start the warrenty. After I contacted the selling dealer and had them fax the information of the first sale to them everything went into place. I was very upset thinking I was going to have to pay for the repair out of my pocket. I just started calling everyone I could think of and thank god for computers, it made it possible for me to make a lot of cantacts. Anyway thanks to Workhorse I can now leave tomorrow and hopefully enjoy what is left of my trip to TopSail Hill State Park.

Well said FrontRangeRver. I would recommend replacing some of the vinegar with honey.

Guys - It's all water under the bridge at this point. Folks can get pretty steamed up if they figure they're all alone and nobody cares BUT the exception to that is our little corner of the world.
I think we all did what we could to lessen Uncle Sam's concern so now let's move forward.
What made the difference here is that Uncle Sam accepted "our" assistance and it all worked out for the best "except" for his flat tire which at the end of the day must have been a big thrill for him.
Good luck Uncle Sam, have a great trip!

I think I have made an apology to Workhorse on all of the forums now. I just returned today from TopSail Hill State Park, the Motor Home worked OK, only thing I am now wondering about is this. I know that the repairing dealer and also the tire repair dealer they sent to fix the tire after they left the extension loose and it lost it air did not torque the lug nuts. They are supposed to be torqued to 450 ft lobs according to the Workhorse manual. I had just paid to have this done about three months ago when I had the front tires trued and balanced. How important is this issue. I watched them just use a large air wrench to tighten the lug nuts. It seems to me that if they are doing Workhorse warrenty work they should be following workhorse manuals
O-well I don't think it will fall off but I just wonder how important it is to have it exactly 450 ft. lbs.
Anyway I really do thank Workhorse for stepping up and correcting the problem.
Another thing is I told the dealer that I had replaced the clip on the fuel line myself but to get it off the books they could replace it again, but they didn't do it. so now I guess it will have to wait unit another time.

In my recent trip to a Goodyear Truck Tire Center on the way to Indiana, I experienced a loss of air pressure from a bad valve. The shop there tightened up my lugs with a 1" drive air impact wrench. I observed the mechanic applying a star topology tightening pattern which made me feel comfortable and he didn't ratchet the nuts on until they didn't move but he handled the impact wrench like a pro. He checked and re-checked each lug for the tightness that he felt comfortable with using his expertise and feedback from the wrench. Although this process is far from scientific, I bet that the torque values are going to be pretty close. At the end of the process I felt comfortable with his work.
The very best option without a doubt is to get the lug nuts tightened with a torque wrench however the process can be a bit time intensive and the cost will go up incrementally.
Please keep in touch!
