Driver,
I am in the process of fixing my pump module and have removed it easily due to Rexhalls hole in the compartment. However, I am also trying to replace the rubber gas line between the fuel pump and the steel lines. Rexhall did not leave enough space above the tank to get my hands in there and the gas tank goes from frame rail to frame rail. I need to cut another hole in the compartment where the steel lines and rubber lines meet ontop of the tank but I don't know where that is. Nothing in the manual (paper or CD) shows. A call to workhorse tech resulted in they saying they had no idea and had no way of finding out. What I need is a dimension from the fuel pump module hole forward to where the steel/rubber lines intersect. It doesn't have be be exact just close. Is there anyone you know who can look at a chassis and obtain the measurement?

Unfortunately, I do not have that dimension.
If this task that you are trying to accomplish is very important to you consider if you will, dropping the tank and once that's out of the way you can have complete unrestricted access to the space you want to work with.

Pump's out that was the easy part. I was hoping that Driver with his WCC connections could have someone measure a bare chassis. Does anyone out there have enough room over the top of the tank on a W22 to measure aforementioned request or even have a brochure that shows the gas tank and steel line location?

I wonder if Rexhall provided easy access to my pump? Maybe that’s why the shop changed mine so quick.

Could you use an inspection mirror to look? Or see if you can find someone that has a flexable scope to look.

Scoutmstr,
I have this photo I took at a rally several years back of a W24 ( I think). It shows routing of fuel lines on tank. It may be of some use.

Marty.
Can you post the picture as a thumbnail so I can enlarge it. I did find a picture on a brochure on WCC's site but couldn't get the right angle to see the lines.
I have tried a inspection mirror and failed. I'm thinking of calling a coach manufacturer and see if they can help. Rexhall now only uses UFO.

scoutmstr, go to the PHOTOS link at the top of IRV2 page, select all photos. You will see recent photos and the above photo you want is still there. Click on it and you will see a full size picture. Maybe some one here can get the full size picture to show. Other wise I can email you the jpg.

Perfect. Picture is what I needed. I know where to cut and just hope it's not under the black water drain line but it's will be close. Thanks Marty
