Ours has the same whine sound when accelerating hard that I have read about on other post, but the Workhorse dealer said it may be normal. I also think it could be the a/c clutch, who do I call for help? I called Workhorse Tech. I spoke to two different people and got two different answers. It's been at the dealers for a week now.
HELP?? Carl

Thank you for the answer, but ours is at S&J Chevrolet and has been there for a week now without an answer. Is there someone higher up in Workhorse that can HELP?

Easy to tell if it's the ac clutch, turn off the AC. It should free wheel -- turn on AC, does it sound the same with compressor engagged?
Just FYI, my 05 Voyage is quiet --

Don't let any WH service shop tell you the sound is normal. I went through that with one in Utah. The guys at Redlands Truck took care of my AC compressor issue with no problem.
