I have a 2002 WH 18 GVW chassis (Gas). Two days ago while sliding into my seat the horn sounded because I touched the steering wheel. I did not touch the horn button. It happened again yesterday but this time it was continuous. I just smacked the steering wheen and it stopped.

Last night at 02:00 AM I awoke to my MH horn blarring away. Even though I was in a stupor, I remembered to smack the steering wheel. The noise stopped. I pulled the fuse so as not to have a repeat. My neighbors needless to say were not happy with me.

Can someone relate to this highly unusual situation. Is my MH haunted? Remember, these events were totally without human intervention. Help! Thanks.
Steve

I'll bet it happens with wheel tilted fully up. Chafing of the black wire is suspect.

My 2002 W20 did the same thing. So I traded it in on a 2007 W22. The Horn is OK now.

Smart decision. I like your creative approach. How do I crimp my wires?

That's how I solved the cruise control issue in my 2003 pickup truck. The new one has more power too.

Thanks for the good laugh.
