Have a w20 chassis. Have been adding 3 shots to each zirk every 3k. Tried 5 shots this time, some fittings had grease forced out, some didn't.

How do you decide when to stop? Just add a few shots or keep adding until fresh grease is forced out?

morninghill, Continue to pump grease into the fitting until it begins spitting or failing that until you see a slight sheen of new grease coming from the fitting. Now at the spline connection on the drive shaft give it 6 pumps and fuggetaboutit!

You will want to wipe the Zerk before applying the jaws from the nozzle. Remember don't over pump the king pins because you don't want to get grease on the rotors. Clean up the excess..

There is also 1 fitting under the hood on the replay rod. It's located by the Bosch Hydro-Max.

If you have a W 20-24 Series you have 14 fittings to find!

Thanks Driver - Think I found them all, just 13 on the w20, two piece drive shaft instead of three piece so one fewer fittings. This is the first time I tried the lubrication with the Trek on jack stands. Easier to get grease into the kingpins and nice to have the extra room but putting it up on jacks seems to have changed the angles in the u-joints. Hard to get to the fittings. Going back under today to finish but will go without the jacks.
