I am in the process of purchasing a 2005 motorhome on a P32 Chassis. I have queried w/h several times via email on the same question and each time they say they will get back to me. This over 2 and a half weeks. Called their phone number in Indiana and left a message but no reply. Is this normal response from this company? How do I get thru to them?

By the way my question was, "How do you activate the daylight running lights on a 2005 P32 chassis?". Gave them the VIN as well. This may not be a problem in the USA but in Canada you must have working DRL or you cannot license the M/H.

Your DRL (day time running lights) module is probably not working properly.

Woodytrwo: Sorry to say this, but I don't think you are likely to get a response. The Union City, IN assembly line and support offices are being closed. You will probably get better results by contacting a Workhorse ASC, and asking them to help determine what is wrong.

Are you sure the coach builder provided for the DRLs? Some didn't.

Good luck.

I have the '04 P-32. If I want daytime running lights, I reach down and turn the headlights on , they don't come on by them selves. Maybe '05s are different.
Surprisingly, Somebody has been updating the WH website in the last mo. or maybe a year. I had my engine replaced at Burt Chevrolet a little more than a year ago. They were never listed as a WH ASC even though they were. Now they are John Elway Chevrolet and they are listed here.

I received a return call to the phone message that I left the other day. And they seemed to want to help. Indicated that they would research and get back to me.

I believe it would be up to the coachbuilder as to wether they add the DRL option. If it was built in the US for the domestic market it would not be required.

When you get your RV home to Canada.
Take it to your mechanic or buy the appropriate module from an auto parts store and install yourself.
What another person did in your situation was to buy after market DLR lights and installed them on his RV's front bumber

THAT is good news, indeed. Hope you get the answers you seek. Maybe they are not totally gone after all, as some of us implied. I hope I was wrong (again). Ed

Turn to PDF page 61 (1-50) of the 2005 W-P CHassis owners manual:
http://www.workhorse.com/fedexground...%20Manuals.pdf.

As indicated, Daytime Running Lights where standard on some chassis and optional on others.
