I like all you guys but way too often here, you here me complaining about a problem or just bickering with ya. I like to bicker with you guys but it's in a good natured way but you may not take it that way.
I feel very lucky. I've had a great wife for many years , have 2 daughters 28 and 35 and 4 grandsons. My youngest is my 19 yr.old son. Still living at home, going to CU Denver, working fulltime and also does marketing and graphic design work for promotors and magazines occasionaly. He also races motocross in the Pro class. He also has a girlfriend and as you'd expect she takes alot of his time.
I'm really proud of him but what especially makes me feel lucky is, he and his girlfriend love to take trips with us in the motorhome.
We go to Florida, California, Arizona, Las Vegas, many, many motocross races, Lake Powell and many other lakes and we wakeboard and ski and just goof off together. We also take the MH to Tiger Run Resorts and go snow skiing at Breckenridge or Keystone.
Are'nt I lucky to have a 19 yr. old boy, and his girlfriend too that like to do things with his Mom and Dad ?
The motorhome makes all of these things even more fun
The sad part is that our kids keep growing up and I know it's just a matter of time before lots of these things are just memories. But I want to keep stashing more and more of these memories in my memory bank while I can.
I get grumpy and my wife just looks at me and says, " will you please quit sweating the small stuff ?"
I jst want you to know that I'm not just a grumpy old man and even when I'm bickering with you, especially Driver, I'm typing a mile a minute with a big poop eating grin on my face.
Sorry for taking up this space with my bragging but sometimes, I just can't help myself. I should post it on the Damon forum too, They're also a good bunch of guys.

Great post Max.... You have one quality that many never find... you take responsibility for your actions good or not so good. Don't change we like just the way your are.

You are a lucky fellow indeed. You are right about stashing as many memories as you possibly can. The hardest part about us going Fulltime is missing the kids and grandkids. We have such good memories with the kids and are sad that we are not around enough to gain such memories with the grandkids. It is tough but it is a decision we made and we have to accept it. Enjoy!

Having a good family is nice.. When in vegas play Blackjack in the mornings (4am to noon) at Ballys or the Paris casino (Harrah's properteis) who knows..... You might be learning how to live lean from my Daughgter (She is a good daughter, learned early how to win at blackjack... PLAY FOR THE HOUSE, every day she walks out the winner )

I don't venture over here often, but I must admit Max, you're the ONLY one I've seen give Mike a run for his money.
THANK YOU so much for you post and I might add that I have a 20 year old son that all of a sudden has had the realization that "Dad's not so dumb after all" and as such he and his sister will be joing me this summer on a cross country trip to points west and beyond.
Used to be he didn't have time for Dad and especially his ten year old sister, NOW he WANTS us all to be together this summer...

God bless ya Max.......and DON'T STOP with the effort to keep that DriVer in line!!

I agree with what someone said earlier and will expand a bit.... Any man can come in here and post his opinion, it takes a REAL man to come in here and apologize for possibly rattling some feathers.
I look forward.....<cringe> to reading your posts in the future.
