I really love the Workhorse ad on page 33 of the December issue of Family Motor Coaching. (FMCA) It is so true.

For those of you who don't have access to the magazine I thought I would add the following. It is an advertisement for the UFO chassis. Of course a picture is worth a 1000 words but the following got my attention

With the Workhorse UFO, you can hear every word she says and still have no idea what she is talking about.

That hit home for me.

Don

Don, you better make sure the DW doesn't follow this forum. We may end-up with a AWOL member.

Fred;

My DW appreciates the ad as much as I do. It lies on the table and she shows it to all our RV friends. She says that guy in the picture reminds her of me. I think it took guts for Workhorse to place the ad.

Don, I think it looks more like Mike P. when he gets back from one of those Workhorse Rah Rah sessions. You are much better looking.

OK guys, time to copy/paste or post a link to the ad so we know what you're joking about.

Well Max, that's a pretty tall order. Since the ad is in a magazine, not online, I sure don't know how to do as you requested.

Perhaps you should join FMCA. That way get you the magazine and a host of other benefits, too. HERE is a link so you can check it out. ED

I was surprised when I saw this ad.

If a male to female comment, such as depicted in the ad, was made in Workhorse's office environment Workhorse could have legal problems.

IMHO, the ad is inappropriate for 2007.

As too "sexist" remarks I'll quote our corporate attorney, "This is 2000, not 1950."

Me, I'm an old guy and make these sexist remarks occasionally. But, in today's corporate world, sexist remarks such as used in Workhorse's ad are inappropriate and I'm surprised Workhorse used them in print.

I have to admit that ad is the truth. My DW will start talking about something and I don't have a clue what it's about. I have to remind her that being male, I can't understand female speak without being brought up to speed first! SHEEEESH!!
