We're not out in the coach right now, but those figures seem about right. When the engine is under a load the timing would be less to reduce the chance of "pinging". When not under load the timing could be advanced considerably. That's what vacuum advance did in the distributors of the "old days". Advancing the timing improved mileage and could be used under a light load without damaging the motor. I will check mine in a couple of weeks when we go to the Workhorse Chassis Motorhome Club rally in Dundee, Ohio the first week of August.
