oldpa Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Homestead,FL Posts: 126	On a ‘03 P-32 is it necessary to drop the steering column to replace the ignition switch? I will be installing the switch and the bypass relay next week Also where should I look for wire chafing in the column? Thanks, Greg __________________

Greg I Member Damon Owners Club Ford Super Duty Owner Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: Annapolis, MD Posts: 36	No need to pull the column. Just need to remove some of the bracing. Biggest pain is aligning the new switch. Mine was replaced twice even with the bypass relay before I traded it for a Ford.
