I just replaced my instrument cluster and it is a simple plug in thing but, now I no longer have an out side temperature display. Am I missing somthing? There is no more wires to plug in and I had temp display on my old one. Would this one be differant? I sure miss the out side temp display.

TAN,
Do you mean you have no menu option that has the temperature or that you just get no or incorrect temp shown.
I had mine replaced last year and when I go into the 'mode' and select OS Temp, I do get a reading but it is waaaay wrong....Like showing a -34 degrees...in Florida.
Also, what year and model is your WH chassis...and make of MH built on the chassis.
Good Luck and let us know when you find an answer.

It is a 2004 P32 chassis. A 2005 29R Itasca. I have menu but no temperature in the menu. It's like a totally different cluster. It looks the same but the menu is totally different. The gauges work way better then the old one ever did but I sure miss not knowing the outside temperature.

My Atica cluster now has 2 dead lines in it. As of now it is not disruptive. Am I in for a big surprise one day when I lose more lines?

George, you could check the plugs behind display and make sure they all are seated to pins, may have a loose plug.

George Z, I spoke with MikeT last night who also recently had his IP replaced. His observations for the most part mirror yours. He also suggested that the modular plugs be checked to make sure they are fully seated.
MikeT checked his "IP O/S Temp" setting on his 05 Voyage last night and it did accurately read the O/S temperature.

Thanks DriVer. I think I will wait till next week and if the temp. gets near 40 I'll kick on the heat and pop the instrument cluster to check the connection
