Just started my 2003 P32 and the instrument panel is dead. No power at all. All gages just lay there, no LCD, no indicator lights...nothing. The turn signals lights and all still work but panel shows nothing. I'm hoping it' a fuse.

I will check the fuse today. I hope that's it. It had a pinched wire a year or so ago that killed the cruise control. It took the dealer a while to find it. Fortunately it was still under warranty. It doesn't sound likely that it could be the entire instrument panel as a unit does it? If that had to eb replaced it would costs a ton just for the parts. It look like it's easy tor eplace as all the screws are on the front but I don't even want to think about it.

This may be a coincidence but I don't think so. One of the first things I've learned when working with anything electronic (I'm a computer engineer) is to do a cold reset. So when I have a car or appliance that goes loopy (that's technical engineering talk)I pull the power entirely and wait a few minutes. It has made me look like a miracle worker in a number of tense situations.
I diconnected the battery, waited 5 minute and reconnected it. I now have the instrument panel back. I didn't even have to pull the back off of it, spit in it and womp on it a few times...(Andy Griffith, No Time for Sargents)

Who would have thought the backlighting was computerized?

Had a similar situation w/ my 2002 Itasca on W22 chassis. Raised the dash and noted the main cable to the cluster was loose. Re-set it and all is well! Good luck and post your final result, please.
