Workhorse emailed me back and told me that they currently have no fix for the 3 dings and IP dropping out and coming back up. They said that they are waiting for the supplier Actia to come up with a solution. Once that happens the service centers will be notified of the fix. They did say that if your panel dims or doesn't work at all they DO have a fix for that...

As an old retired design (logic design) engineer, my gut feeling is that Actia will never come up with a solution. I've seen this reset type problem a couple of times in the past and many possibilities come to mind as to what it can be. The main thing I think is there is a weakness in the manufacturing process of the panel, and it is not severe enough and doesn't affect that many panels (in Actia's eyes), to do any more than give it lip service. It doesn't happen that often so even if they were to figure it out, they would probably keep it under wraps.
