In the 70's I did refrigeration for a supermarket chain and they had one truck , GMC 454 dual wheel utility body that had 2 lpg tanks mounted on top of the side compartments . We used to call it the " Blue Bomber" as did look strange with 2 silver tanks on the blue truck. Don't remember if the test worked out or not.

Liquefied gas works well on commercial vehicles and its been proven. Fueling these vehicles is never a problem since a majority of these vehicles are local to their terminals and typically operate in densely populated areas.

RV'ers on the other hand are going to be reluctant, even if given the opportunity to buy a brand new RV from a manufacturer that is specifically fueled by LPG.

That said it's not that there aren't manufacturers out there that are prepping themselves for LPG engines because I know that Ford is working on a Class C LPG fueled vehicle and this is simply a lateral move for them from the commercial side to the RV side.

Deliberately building an RV chassis to be an LPG powered vehicle is not something that I believe we are going to see unless its already in service on the commercial side of the business.

A few years back, we rented a 30-foot Class A that was dual-fuel. It was started on gaoline and warmed up a bit, thehn you shut down and switch to propane. It drew from the same tanks as the residential systems, which I thought was a bit dumb.

All I can remember was that it had a Chevy 454 and had a bad segment on the starter ring gear on the flywheel. We got stuck twice when we coudn't get the thing to turn over. Took it back to the rental place and got full refund.
