I agree, if u have an "engine brake" like a diesel those are great but if it's nothing but an automatic downshift when u hit the brake, I'd rather have total control and down shift it myself well before I have to touch the brakes.
With the P-32, a long 7% grade will have me hitting the brakes in 2nd gear. If it icy or sketchy I may use 1st gear, but I want to be the one to decide that at the time, nor some programmer.
