Is there really any interest in still having a workhorse Chat Room

Are you interested in having it but like me your usually not able to log in?

Do you have any ideas or suggestions to increase participation there?

I have interest in it, however have not been able to participate due to the timing, perhaps if they could be done on other days of the week perhaps even at a different time could be helpful.

I have never participated but have had good intentions of doing so.
Can you explain how it works? Everybody logs in and watches their screen as somebody posts a question and then other participants type in their responses? I imagine there is little value if only 2 or 3 people are talking to one another. Much more input can be gained from posting a question in the forum and waiting for answers from the much greater number of people following the forum. What aspects make it better other than almost real time communication?

Maybe I am wrong about how it works.

Also, by 9:00 pm Eastern I have had my usual number of nightly beers and am about ready for bed.

You’ve got the gist of it and I agree with you 1000%.

Thank you for your input about the time slot.

I no longer have a Workhorse, but when I did the 9pm EST wasn't good for me either (I realize EST is not the center of the universe). I'm up at 4am, by 9pm my day is over.

I have logged in several times only to find at the most 2-3 others in the chat. The conversations were not necessarily about issues but trips and personal happenings. The last login several weeks ago the other guy in the chat didn't have a WH and was of no help. Seems we can post a problem or do a search and get more info in a timely manner. Just my $.02.
