Its back, $12 off 5 qts of Mobil 1 synthetic

Here it is rebate time, once again, Wal Mart is not listed on their list of approved vendors, but the rebate will work with a WM purchase.

Mobile 1 makes it easy, you can do everything on line.

Thanks CJ7, I was just getting ready to buy my yearly oil. I am curious how you know they will accept a receipt from a vendor not on their list?

I always get this question

I called last year during the last rebate and Mobil said they accepted the WM receipt.

I have not called this year, but I submitted my rebate middle of march, I would think that if there was an issue I would of been notified.

You can always call them to confirm.

Maybe the companies on the Mobil list on their website pay some kind of advertising fee or something. Not sure why WM is not on there and I have never asked.

But it states on the website, "Participates include" so how I interpret that is participates paid a fee to be on the Mobil list. Also I would think if that was the only list of participates it would state something like, ONLY the follow retailers......etc...

Cool, that's a good deal. I just changed my oil yesterday, but I'll get some for next time. Thanks for posting!

Costco has $10 off on a case of 6 qts. No mail in rebate, Costco just takes it off the bill.

Apparently the rebate is not meant for me. It is very timely for me since the motorhome is due for an oil change, so off to Walmart I went. When I got home I pulled the receipt out of my pocket and dropped it. My dog was right on it. I chased her down and retrieved the receipt from her mouth, half missing. I thought maybe I could take it back to Walmart and have them print me up a new one. The next day I was getting something out of my wallet and the receipt fell out. Well you guessed it, the dog latched on to it again. After fetching it from her mouth there was very little left. I placed it on the counter on my patio to examine later to see if there was any hope. Then a big gust of wind came up and there was no more receipt. Of course I paid cash so there is no tractability.

Look at it as a $12 snack for the dog.
