Need some good suggestions if you have had experience here. I'm in the process of installing some Air Lift bags on my MH. I succeeded in loosening the lug bolts slightly so removing the wheels should only be back breaking..

I'm in the process of trying to figure how to jack this baby up. I have a large floor jack but the room between the leaf spring U-Bolt flange and the pumpkin is pretty darn short. The floor jack is in place but I have no leverage under the MH to jack it up.

According to the instructions.. yep, I'm reading them this time... the axle, after removing the wheels, should be at riding height with the jack stands. Because the big jack is so tough to use...

I'm wondering if I can raise the rig using the stabilizing jacks on a cement pier to clear the wheels off the ground, put the stationary jack in place and drop the rig onto it.

I'd REALLY like to have a 2nd stationary jack as a backup. I can place the main one adjacent to the springs. Suggestions as to where to place the 2nd one? The chassis is quite high. I guess I could build some serious blocks to get the other SJ in range somewhere in front of the axle.. or possibly behind it.

Who has any experience here..?? I have my own ideas (mostly above).. but, hopefully, someone has researched this.. or done it.

If not, I'll try Workhorse or Monaco tomorrow.

Thanks all...

I have done it that way.. I don't like to do it that way but I have done it that way.

Normally if I need to lift one wheel I use a 12 ton Air/Hydraulic bottle jack jack. (no that's not stuttering)

I got it from Harbor Freight.. The jack has a pump on it that operates like a jack-hammer which is why the stutter.
