The R-series was used by Winnebago before FCCC signed them to "exclusive" chassis agreements for ALL their rear diesel chassis needs. The R-series was also used by Gulfstream and Mandalay's Presidio products, I believe. There may be other OEMs as well, but my memory is far from perfect right now.

Prior to going exclusively with CAT power, the R-series was pushed by Cummins engines. The Workhorse R-series is a tradational rear diesel pusher chassis with air ride and air brakes. They were/are available in various GVWR up to 32,000 and in several wheel base lengths.
Since Cat has announced they will not offer on-highway engines for 2010, my guess is that we will see big bore International MaxxForce engines in future R-Series chassis. ED
