Just got back from a great weekend

Made the first change to transynd 295 in the allison 1000 traveled the NW I-90 about 450 miles round trip noticed a big change smoother shifts.  Went to the columbia river by Vantage Washinton a ten mile pull on the way home to Seattle was able to pull 65 miles an hour in fourth gear did'nt skip a beat Weather was nice 82' will be making the 2nd change this weekend.

Do you think the second change will get you 67 MPH or more?
You may need to change the rear end to synthetic for that.

They come OE with Synthetic fluid!

Changing to Transynd should also make the tranny run a bit cooler.
Did you use 3 gal. for the changout?

I measured 10-1/2 quarts on the first drain thats what came out of the pan & pre filled the new filter. ( the magnet was clean ) thanks for all the info on this forum. the 05 allison had 17,560 miles on it.
