I have been thinking about installing a set of Konis on my2008 UFO chasis, and I have a couple of questions. Several of you have switched to konis, did you change the rear shocks, or just the fronts? My feeling is you only need to change the fronts, but I would like to know what your experience has been.
Looking on line no one lists Koni's for the UFO chasis. Does anyone have the part numbers so I can get an idea of there cost. I tryed Brazels, Redlands and Koni. It suprised me that no one lists them.

I know for a fact that they have a SKU for front shocks and Koni said they can match a rear shock to a compatible length. They will be assigning a SKU for rear UFO shocks soon.
Call the folks at www.konirv.com

Thank you driver, the first site I checked was the Koni site, and when they did not list the UFO under workhorse I sent them an e mail, hopefully they will reply tommorrow. If not I will have to resort to the telephone and press one for.

I am in luck, Koni answered my e mail, and now I get to go shopping. If anyone needs it the part # is 8805-1002.

You'll want 8805-1021's on the front and 8805-1002's on the rear. Call me at the shop on monday and hopefully we can get you set up with a set!

I had the KONI's installed at the Bakersfield Workhorse Rally. I replaced all 4 after talking to other UFO owners. It is without a doubt the best investment I have made on the Coach. It always handled very well except for the "porpoiseing". The ride is actually enjoyable now.

I am replacing the front shocks first. If that does not make my wife happy then I will go to the rear.
When I checked Koni's website they did not list the UFO, I emailed them and they gave me the part number.
Jon Brazel gave me aanother number, so I emailed Koni to see who was right and they discovered they were wrong. I told them I had already ordered a set that I was able to cancel, they felt bad, so they sold me a set of fronts at a price I could not refuse.

If I lived closer to Redland's or Brazel's I would have tried the fronts only first. I didn't want to schedule a trip just for the shocks. After talking to Redland's and other UFO owners who already replaced the shocks, I decided to bite the bullet and change all 4. I know you will be happy, like all of us who have the Koni's.

Your wife will be happy, trust me, and so will you. It was the best thing I've done to my coach so far!!!!

Jon I was going to call you, but he felt so bad he made an offer I could not refuse.
After I get the fronts and run them if I decide to change the rears you will be my first call.
