Last year for Workhorse

We love our 2004 Newmar Mountainaire, but are always in the market for a good deal on upgrading.
Can any of you tell me what the last year was Newmar made the Mountainaire on the W22 or W24 chassis?

Well I can only find a gasser until 2007 but want to be sure they didn't finish off the stockpile of Workhorse chassis in 2008. Newmar's brochures only show a DP in 2008 on so I'm just trying to confirm that.

I believe 2007 was the last year for a Mountain Aire Gas.

I'm thinking this is correct. Newmar continued offering products on a WCC chassis, but I believe their top of the line gasser became known as the Grand Star. A visit to the Newmar brochure archives should confirm what/when questions. IMO, the GSCA was not as "nice" as the MACA which is arguably the finest gasser MH ever built.

Sounds likely. Just checked and the last 8.1 engines were produced in 2009. Engine stockpile, or complete chassis, would likely have lasted into the 2010 model year. However, different motothome manufacturers likely had different stocks of bare workhorse chassis.

In searching the usual websites that advertise MH's I can't find a Mountain Aire Gasser past 2007. So I will assume this was the last year Newmar produced them. I agree with Ed Gray. I will be hard pressed to find another home as well built and performs as good as this one. But as the miles keep clicking off my pursuit will continue. Thanks to all who participated.
